Veeam recently released Veeam Backup & Replication v7. The updates for v7 take the previous product and make something that was already great even better. Veeam is the leading company for VMWare backup, and the newest version of Backup & Replication will make it faster, easier, and cheaper to back up your VMWare and Hyper-V. - Major innovations – There are two new major innovations in version 7. The first one is built in WAN acceleration. Enhanced 1-Click Restore now includes self-service recovery, allowing the user to recover files for themselves, resulting in a smaller burden on your IT staff. Version 7 also offers Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint, which will save those with the program a lot of time and effort.
- Additional Enhancements – The newest version of Veeam Backup & Replication is made to be faster and stronger than any versions before as well as any other VMWare backup and replication programs on the market. It’s capable of parallel processing, designed to use less memory, and even allows you to recover at the file level for Microsoft as well as other operating systems.
